It's actually illegal to attempt suicide. But I still don't see a point in sending your kid there, should've put him through therapy at the most.

I know it's illegal.
And that pisses me off, I mean I know it's so police can legally take action and help secure the person. But it's that person's life to end or to allow continue.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I condone suicide. But I myself am suicidal, and even when I wasn't, felt that it shouldn't be illegal to take a life that is your own.

They could have hospitalized him for a short period of time, roughly a week or two.

I agree with you 90%. Life is fucked up, and sometimes you have rules to follow. Suicide is never the answer, and that's just the way I look at it. I don't feel any sorrow or sympathy for a fool who takes their own life.

I could debate with you on it, but it's neither the time nor the place.
And you're right, it isn't the answer for the majority.

I have no need to debate on a redundant subject. I wouldn't cry if someone took their life nor feel bad for them, it's their choice to make; it's a cowards move.
