My farmer will not harvest

Hi, i hope i can ask this here. When not then erase this Thread please.

I made this farm for potatoes, wheat and carrots:

But the farmer doesnt harvest anything. He looks around at everything, goes to the other villager and thats all. I didnt use

I tried to harvest some of the crops to get the farmer starting to do something. But he doesnt want to. Anybody got some ideas how i can get him to start harvesting?
