My honest thoughts on DarkRP players

I don't like most DarkRP players. I hop around on DarkRP once in a blue moon because my dirty secret is that I LOVE RP'ing, but the reason I do it so rarely is that DarkRP players so easily ruin the RP. They're too obsessed with instantly becoming a policerole or somerole with an immense amount of power that they will do anything to get there, such as ruining their character and going straight for the money. I don't know about you guys but how I RP is that I stick to my character at all costs. Doesn't mean my character won't change over time, but he won't suddenly stop being a drug-addict, rebel-rousing, black market dealer to become a cop. I see stuff like this all too often on DarkRP. Plus DarkRP doesn't know how to RP well. None of them. It's just frustrating.
