MyBB v1.8 to v2.0

Is MyBB still a popular forum provider? Also, is the 2.0 version in stable development yet? Last version I used was 1.8.

Yeah its very useful to do that,we need to cover it to 2.0

Sadly it isn't. Im new to mybb, and keep finding myself with problems or ppl most interested on selling mods than keeping it alive. The result its a ton of mods with lack of usefull options (like thanks and hide, or pro stats).
If you have the cash, go for IPB or XenForo, years ahed of dev... and for free options you could go with discourse or vainilla, a bit of fresh air.

Mybb is the best "free" software I have come across, what thing I love about it, it's customizable

I personaly love "flarum" but this is a beta software.
I don't have money to buy IPB or XF...
