You need to have your database information handy. Does your hosting use localhost for the database host? If not, then you need to figure out what the database host name is. You'll also need your database name, username and password. Be sure the MySQL Database user has all access to the database so IPB can write to the database.

New to IPB, but there must be a config file somewhere that you probably need to edit and add some basic information on database, user, password, home directory path etc.
