So, let me go ahead and say that this is for a project that I'm going to have to do in order to graduate. What are all of your opinions on this build, things I can improve, anything you think I may be able to substitute?

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
My intended use for this build is primarily:
  • Gaming
  • Small to Medium Server Hosting (Both Web and Game)
  • Graphic Design (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
  • Streaming and Video Recording (Sony Vegas Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.)
  • Potentially AutoCAD
  • Video and Audio Conferencing (Skype, Discord, Teamviewer, etc.)
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
I wish to have a solid FPS rate of at least 50-60 FPS. The screen resolution is based off the monitors that will be purchased, so a 1920 x 1080 monitor with a 6ms refresh rate. I wish to play on Medium to Higher game settings so I can really experience the game. Examples of Games I will potentially play:
  • Crysis 3
  • Minecraft (Heavily Modded and Vanilla)
  • Garry's Mod
  • Just Cause
  • Borderlands
  • Saints Row
  • Fallout
  • No Man's Sky
What is your budget?
My budget is no more than 1,700 USD as an absolute maximum. I'd like for it to be cheaper than it is now, whether if it be by purchasing parts secondhand or if it's due to a part being cheaper, but still able to perform quite well.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?
I'm purchasing them in the United States, but am willing to look to other countries should the part(s) be cheaper.

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please).

Provide any additional details you wish below.
If you can think of a better audio and recording setup, please don't hesitate to suggest. I'd like for it to have good sound quality though, as again I will be streaming with this setup. Any suggestions on how I can improve upon the price, as that is the main problem, would be gladly appreciated.
