Definitely build one. Do you have any friends that have built PCs before that could help you? Even if not, it's not as hard as it might sound, there are guides out there to help you. You end up getting a lot more for your money building. If you give me your budget I could suggest some components.

You should definitely build a pc. It feels so good to finish it when you do. And truly make it your own.

Your budget is the main factor here. If you are on the lower end then build a Ryzen based system. The most expensive component will be the graphics card and I've known people who build their PC around the card they want to run with rather than from a CPU perspective.
