leeching is where you dont actively post on the threads with downloads of your own of things you found if that makes sense, youre just there taking from others and not giving back, "leeching".
i may be wrong but thats my understanding of it

Leeching means you just download a resource from the forum but not contribute anything

Leeching is where you're a scumbag and you don't contribute to the community and instead just take from it, like a leech.
