Need help with Login for my site. Need help asap!

so basicallyi want a login page that when you log in, you see content thats meant for you, you can't talk to other people or anything, just site admin.


For context , i am going to have a video editing business, and i want them to log in then be able to upload video clips that i can download then after done editing i re upload the result to there CP, i drew a very epic 10/10 visualization of it.



My question is how do i do this? You don't need to explain word for word in comments link me a resource if you have one ETC! Thanks! :D

If you don't know PHP, I would just using wordpress. It takes months if not years to learn how.

Wordpress isn't gonna cut it. I'm not making a blog, i'm making a site where user has a CP where they can upload video files to the server where i can download them, edit them, then put them on there CP for them to download and upload to youtube ETC. I don't want other users stealing video clips from other's each user should have there own dashboard / CP. anyone know how to do this?

simple way just use this script here. check the code i did not write this i found it on google. in saying that google is your friend lol

Find a script or look at cookies/sessions and PHP PDO databases as a place to start with the basics. W3Schools is good.

You are underestimating what Wordpress is. Sure enough wordpress started as a "blogging" software but it has grown far from it. Don't get me wrong, I can see a million reasons why Wordpress isn't cut for a professional website, but if you are "testing" your website locally then my best guess is that what you are trying to achieve isn't enterprise level either, so in this case, wordpress *MAY* be suited for you.

If you look into CodeCanyon, you can find a gazillion scripts which are ready to deploy that will be pretty much an out of the box solution that you could either plug into wordpress (if it is a WP plugin) or a stand alone script (though I do not recommend this route). And if you do find something suited for Wordpress, you do get a lot of benefits from using WP as a core. It is constantly updated with security patches, it is widely supported and it is very robust with its API for further development as your business needs grow.

Wordpress will work but it will need allot of customisation, if you dont know js and php then id just stick to learning wordpress as it will do all the hard bits for you and then to speed the site up extract the wordpress site to HTML.
