Need some help my my headset microphone won't get detected

Hey guys My headphones for my headset works fine right but the mic attached to it not so much it doesn't won't to be detect so all you, can hear is my inbuilt mic and its so annoying if you guys know to fix tell me but what I don't get is that when I plug it into my ps4 or other devices it works fine

Does your headset have 2 ends? One should be for the audio and one should be for the mic. If you only have 1 end, your pretty much fucked.

Alternatively, if it's a USB microphone I would plug into your PC and search for the device model online to see if you're missing any drivers. If you have them and they're up-to-date then try changing ports.

Have you tried disabling your built in mic and setting your headset as your main playback device?

The headset will have certain drivers that may work with play station and not pc
