I saw the resource pack with raytracing and I just loved it. Thats how minecraft should look like :D

I saw a YT video where someone used it with a 2080ti, and the dude was getting a "smooth 60fps".

Not that 60 is bad, it's just it dropped his fps by like 70%, I dunno if the performance hit is worth it when compared to some fancy shaders.

IDK what's that but i'll try to learn more about it xd

Basically the frames per second drop significantly when using the ray tracing tech, if you don't know much about frame rates, this site should demonstrate it: https://www.testufo.com

My point is there's been shaders in the past that do nice fancy lighting that don't impact performance as much as the ray tracing pack.
