i'd recommend youtube if you need a simple guide on where to start. i looked up "starting guide minecraft" and found a couple videos about the latest version that might help you out. however, minecraft is pretty intuitive and its not too bad to just go in without and plan and google whenever you need a crafting recipe or have a specific question about something. thats how i first started playing

Own experience is the best, try to do stuff, if you want help with anything, like potion brewing or something, you can search these things specifically on google.

The best way to find tutorials or manuals is on Youtube. However, I have, for example, an outdated book on Minecraft where you can read a complete manual for beginners.
I'm the person you can find popular minecraft plugin leaks from.

[If you want to ask for an updated version of one of my Minecraft leaks, I ask you to do it at the respective leak post.]

honestly i just recommend starting a new world and trying to figure stuff out for yourself, most basic things are explained to you, but its much much better to start playing by yourself and just learning through natural experience, i would say a tutorial, but i didnt really watch one myself, just play the game a bit, things like how to start the game are explained in the miniature "tutorial" of the game, like cutting down trees and stuff like that, but other than that i think its mostly just self-teaching, and its propably the most fun part of the normal game, or it was for me, i wish i could go back, but i also wouldnt go back, because now i have enough experience to be able to survive on hardcore relatively well.
