What is the best character for a beginner like me? :o

Best character to start off would be easy champs, like, warwick jungle, easy peasy, or any other that doesn't require much of a skillset, like Lux, Ashe, Miss Fortune, and so on

try to play vayne, doesnt matter if you suck or not first 1 = 2 month, after that you will climb elo like your house ladder lol

Honestly, I feel like Garen would be the most easiest to learn. There is not much of a learning curve to him, nor does he have any skill shots. Top Garen would definitely be the best bet. Try to do more research on who traditionally goes in which lane, Top, Mid, Bot, Support, Jungle.

Tempted to give this a go, looks like it will take a lot of time to get into though. Any skills from the old C&C days transferable to this game?

I think for starters it's remote people like Vayne, Ashe, it's going to familiarize you with how League of Legends works (placement, attack ..)

Try Garen he ist really easy in the beginning or try master yi he is also a really easy champ look in the internet for item builds
