So I made a Garry's Mod server on my local machine and looked up free mysql database hosting service, I couldn't get the server to connect to the database because I couldn't find the right "Host" address, but still my inventory and permaprops are saved? What does this mean? Do I not need MySQL

If you host the database on your gmod host use localhost otherwise request it on the support website

Do you know that 127.0.0.1 and localhost are the same or you just wrote that for filling your message counter?

Use Xampp with Apache for a locale database, important to know that you must execute the XAMPP service and make it online to put it working. The database can be imported using programs like SQLYog or HeidiSQL.

I don't know if that's the answers you were looking for, reply me if that's not the correct one and i'll edit this message to prevent spam.

Cheers!
