So I was asked to make a userbar for a group that does coding (not on this site) and since I was advised to start trying some new things I thought I'd try something different. So here's what I came up with.
I'm not entirely sure what I think about it tbh, it needs a bit more work I think but I'd love to hear other opinions on it

The concept looks good, yet i do not feel as it should be the final solution. Try adding highlights to the line & circle texture you have going on in the background, to make it look more alive. Some flares on the edges of text could also help, as this will bring out the text more from the background.
Good luck with this one and I'll try keeping track of the progress in case you could use more advice or feedback.

It looks really good! I just think that the text should be a little more pronounced than the background details, maybe slightly different color or more of a thicker outline. Idunno, just my personal opinion. I just feel like there should be more contrast between the two. Anyways, great job as always!

I like it, I see where you're coming from. The text should look more like, poppy than the rest.
