No Avatar Filter?

My idea would be to just not show the avatars in the activity feed at all or just change the default avatar

NO. Shouldn't hide the avatars.
Maybe just show the topics that been replied by old members. (filter by posts or join date, idk)

I meant to hide the default avatars, not all of them. My fault if I explained it unclearly

Holy crap, 3 pages of people agreeing to the idea, i feel like i am in one of those social experiment shows that see if people will give in to to the peer pressure of everyone saying one thing and lying about not disagreeing.

I DISAGREE, with this idea. I THINK Its Bad!

So think about this, new users who are actually there to post wont get their threads/replys featured, which is T E R R I B L E.
BUT THERE IS A MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM
MUCH

Just think about this, users would have to get notified that they need to upload an avatar, then the leechers will upload avatars, and NOW every single leecher will have an avatar, and we wont be able to tell apart leecher posts from real posts, so we will have to go through many many leecher posts.

Now its easy to tell its just a leecher trying to get posts because they dont have an avatar, because they dont have to. But because now everyone has to upload an avatar, we simply wont be able to tell apart.

Sorry to go against everyone, but i think this is bad for nulledbb.

Faded

There are many users without avatars that actually make decent posts for their leeching agenda. So using people with no avatars as a determination that they are leechers will not work most of the time.

Staff (or at least me) always go through profiles anyway. We don't decide if someone is a leecher because of one post.

I go through peoples profiles as well, im just giving argumentso n why its generally a bad idea. And i tagged you because i wanted you to see my post i guess?

I just got my avatar ready so the forrum looks a bit better while I walk arround

It's a little frowned upon to tag mod unless it's necessary. But about the avatar, it's one step closer to becoming a member. Psychology, having an avatar gives you a sense of identity and purpose online. If a person who came to nulled just to leech did not change their avatar, they will view themselves as such. Having them upload an avatar to be featured in the activity list is one step closer to being an avid member. There are some users who keep the default avatar for memes.

I havent been able to set up an avatar, somehow I just dont see the option anywhere
