I was very disappointed with the lack of content for this series to receive a season 2. Hopefully Kamiya and the team will make something happen regarding a season 2. However, I'll still be on the lookout for that film, but I'm still more worried about getting another season put out. NGNL was one of my favorite series' all time because the plot was simply amazing. It felt like watching 100 episodes in only 12 episodes.

I wouldn't call it the best anime every but I like it a lot! I would love to see a second season!
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Recommend this and the Monogatari series
Though I don't like the fan service very much
But it just keep surprise me everytime with the magic logic
Things aren't just right
They are meant to be wrong

Honestly this is exactly how I feel about the series. For sure an top pick anime for me, was very upset with no season 2 and i'm positive the movie is 100% fan service with minimum plot. I hope i'm wrong though, they've been hyping it up quite a bit. Maybe they put some time into it :please:
