No no, restrictions must stay, only system need to be change or modified, eg: credits and posts countoff in specified forums. I think better give credits like this, eg: posts in specified forums 1credit, helping post 2credits.

I kinda like the way you're thinking, but it it still has flaws that don't make it worth it.

If you choose specified sections to get credits for example, the lounge. The lounge should arguably be the most active part of the forum.
Now if leechers realise that they can only receive credits from the lounge, they'll spam those threads instead of the leak ones.

Would you rather have spam under the threads in the leaking section or the lounge where people actually try to discuss.
Of course, the moderators try to remove as much of them as possible, but there is no way a few moderators can deal with hundreds of people.

About changing the post credit worth, how would the system know that a post is helpful and give 2 credits instead of 1?


Getting rid of leechers is a whole other problem and this thread is about activity, so we're getting slightly off topic.
Also talking about credits, they don't have much of an use to a regular member, this has been said in this thread as well.
Only real use for credits right now is unlocking content and gambling.

I know my idea modified system need to be more specified and is not perfect.

Ok, this sounds strange but credits could be given when post author get 5 reputation points or something like that.

You right, this is about activity but for now 90% activity forum is leechers and 15 posts spam so i think everything is connected.

Just because I don't enjoy posting on forums doesn't mean I'm not interested in this discussion.
Also how is it not a good excuse? I don't like it because there is next to nobody who will actually see it and care.

Then how about making a specific section of the forum where posting doesn't reward the user with credits at all? This way the leeches have no gain from posting there and refrain from leaving LQ posts there, while the regulars who don't care for credits anyway can have a decent convo without leechy interruptions.

If not selling upgrades for credits, how about selling temp upgrades (1 week or so) or extra user tiers (non-upgrades but unlocks a little less than upgrading)

I'm not sure what you're talking about exactly.
Do you mean:

1. Get rid of credits in the leaking sections (then they would spam under lounge threads which is worse than spamming under leaking threads)
   
2. Make a section where you can't get credits (we have that, it's called random, available for upgraded members)

What about having features like being able to have multiple signature slots (https://nulledbb.com/thread-Nulled-Activ...#pid383176), maybe being able to set up timed posts and more stuff similar to those. Doesn't give anyone a giant bonus, doesn't strip away features from upgraded members and would put credits to use.

Yeah. Or instead of "taking away" an avatar like what some people think is needed, users can have an avatar rotation. The more avatar slots they buy the more they can upload and it'll cycle each time they're seen.
