Oh geez.
We have a bigger gap between each one - middle child is 11 - so i feel for you guys. I have 2 boys and a girl. I think the dynamic between each is great and she rules the roost most of the time
I think having them close together gives them a chance to develop together, which in turn might make them closer -- of course your kids could be completely different. Anecdotally im close in age to my brothers/sister and we are real close still

I have 3 girls and the youngest is a boy so I feel for him when he grows up, it means we are also both outvoted all of he time haha
