Yes, if you're a guy, you can "identify" to be a girl. If you're a girl, you can "identify" to be a guy. If you're a girl or guy, you can "identify" to be both. You can identify to be anything, and have different sexual roles along whatever you identify as. However, there is a barrier of reality that makes it impossible to chemically become another biological gender. Removing penis will not allow you to become pregnant. Adding a penis will not allow you to produce sperm. Adding breasts will not allow you to produce natural milk. You may physically achieve the look of a male or female or change roles, but you will always, scientifically, in reality, and chemically, be a male or female. There's only 2 biological sexes (or the other mutations that still correlate to their appropriate sex).

An octopus can change its color and texture of skin to mimic its surroundings. It can be sand, rocks, coral... But it will always be an octopus.

TL;DR:
Socially/Mentally, you can be or do whatever sexual activity or gender role you want, to a scientific extent.

I agree only two genders but we live in 2018 and now there is about 300 of them supposably.
