OPINIONS NEEDED!

Why aren't DarkRPservers nowadays using the evilmelon map?

I'm tired of same old downtown map.I understand many players within the DarkRP community enjoy that map but i'd like my server to be unique within all aspects available (Including the map) so i'd like to try out evilmelon as a balance between a big map like evocity and downtown. Also this sounds perfect in my head, the question lingers if it'll even keep new players. What do ya'll think? Yay or nay?

Extra info: My server still hasn't opened yet so I don't exactly have a starting player pop to work with. This map literally needs to keep the new players that join.

depends what type of server you want serious and realistic get evocity or if you want a chill back have fun downtowns and if you put enough work in to it you can get players. i have a downtown server open my self and im still deving it

You should try the rockford map ,it's a good map , the V2 is (for me ) the best Rockford map you can have in the workshop

Rockford or Evocity are the most common, look for one that is not used, is a recommendation

Well, usually servers I see without any of the popular rp_downtown maps don't last. Also, some of the bigger maps make it harder for people that play gmod with lower end PC's not really able to play on that server or have to deal with the lag.

I've decided on rp_downtown_exl, not too big and a bit different from the other downtowns. What do you think?

For me best map for server is Rockford and Evocity but you need Counter Strike:Source to Don`t have irritating error (sorry for bad english but I`am German :/)
