Old Or New Minecraft?

Neither, because modded MC is where it's at. Vanilla is just too boring.

Old minecraft was a lot of fun and there are still servers running beta 1.7.3 versions of the game that are worth checking out if you have spare time

Advise which version is better? I want to try this game

I never could get into minecraft, though all my friends love it, there must be something wrong with me. lol

Man i prefer the older minecraft. mainly for its nostalgia! Like when i was younger, spending days and days of my time on just one world! Unfortunatly i lost all the old worlds so sad, but me and my friends still have the memories!

The older versions are better. Especially 1.7.10. There is more of a community surrounding older versions of minecraft then the new ones as mojangs updates keep making the plugin/modded communities life a living hell.
Mojang is purposely redoing the backend of the game so much on every update to make modders give up.
