Old or new

I think a new version have much more to offer but more emotions was in older versions.

I'm more into the modern versions of minecraft because of all the new content and features implemented into the game. In the terms of the community no, I hate the new community with a passion. I would say the community got toxic around the 1.7.10 update and expanded from there. Most youtube videos these days (LATE 2014+) are either false propaganda about genders or straight out stupid content or EXTREMELY annoying people including from kids all the way to adults who make a retardation infestation. I can understand the children but not adults who are old enough to get a job or drink beer in United States legally. Some content on youtube is intelligent. So yes as minecraft moves through time the community gets even worse but the game its self improves.

old for mods, new for vanilla like!

Old as since cobat update Minecraft is overall bad

new one because less bugs and more things to do

i like the older one, because PVP is more enjoyable in my opinion.
