Opinions About Saints Row

SR3 and 4 are the best fucking games in all of history. It's just so much fun to destroy everything you want to, whenever you want to (you can literally create nuclear explosions on SR4), and take part on those absurd plots which make the game more interesting and craaaaazy overall! Plus, the character customization is also great. Nothing better than creating your own BADASS GIRL that MOWS DOWN EVERYTHING IN HER PATH. THE SAINTS RULE EVERYWHERE.

Also, I love the anime DLC for SR4. That one skin for the Disintegrator is fucking amazing. :>

Eh, have you played the first two?

I really feel that Volition really betrayed the old skool fans. Trying to make their games the least like GTA as they went on, angering players like me who came for the seriousness.
In my opinion, 3 & 4 should have been whole different games, not connected to the first two. But they've fucked it, there's no coming back after 3 & 4.

Volition completely fucked up the whole pace and flow of Saints Row by introducing shitty new gimmicks, dumbing down most in game mechanicsthat made the first two games cool and getting rid of the serious elements of the games in fear of becoming a "GTA clone".
Silwater in the first two games were the best, they had lifelike, interesting citizens. Steelport in Saints Row 3 and 4 is the most boring city I think I've ever played in.
Once you've completed Saints Row 3, there's pretty much no point in playing anymore, as the whole boring feelof the city and its citizens makes you want to quit; All citizens just walk, not much differentiation between them.

I could go on, but I'd be here all day.

I feel it was after 3 is when it started going down hill. I didnt like the newest one where you were president and then ended up in a VR world.

I honestly fucking hate the new graphics in 3 & 4, they make the characters look all cartoony.

Nope (I actually have SR2 here but never bothered to play it o-o), but I'm sure I would like them as much as I did the others. :>

I liked the abilities and the VTOL in it, that's mainly why i liked 3.

terrible game. grand theft auto five is way better

I can't really tell since I started from the third but they are pretty fun games for me and the silly side of it gave me a few laugh with my friend when we did the whole game coop

Very fun game, Kind of reminds me of GTA but more campaign.
