Opinions on Military Roleplay?

Hello there guys!
This thread is pretty short and simple, I was wondering if any of you had spent some time on the MilitaryRP category on Garry's mod, and if so, what are your thought about it?
I noticed quite a bit of you are fans of Clonewars Roleplay, and I would say Military Roleplay is very similar in the sense that there is ranking structure, except, you use real guns rather than nerf beams that Starwars provides.
If not, would you care to elaborate as to why CWRP is more appealing to you?

I really tried to play it, I just never could get into it. I started playing StarWarsRP first and CWRP and that consumed my life.

I had that exact opposite reaction towards StarwarsRP, I could just never get into it, while MilitaryRP consumed my life. At one point in time I ran a Clonewars server that hit 128/128 at peak times (8PM EST) and I could just never get the hang of running it, and once I ran out of super administrators to manage it for me, I had decided to close it down and pursue MilitaryRP.

Military Roleplay is alright,
But to be honest it feels like a Team-Deathmatch on most servers, because its literally just the Taliban and the US-Army shooting at each other

I mean I haven't tried it but I wouldn't be apposed to it I guess.

I think I played one years ago, really didn't like it. I'm more of a HL2RP person myself.

Honestly played a little of CLWR and couldn't get into it, went back to dark RP

It is very difficult to pass a set, constantly report, it is difficult to rise in ranks.
