Outlast 2 VS Resident Evil 7

Witch do you prefer? Personally I like Outlast 2, but I own both.

Resident Evil 7 is more riddle filled and slow paced with an ability to fight back your enemies.
Outlast 2 is more dynamic and is more of a hide and seek game, which is not bad.
In terms of horror I think Outlast 2 has better Horror Elements. Resident Evil 7 didn't really shock me. It scared me, yes. But I think a game with some shock elements gives it more personality (See: Dick-Cutting-Guy in Outlast 1).

I more like Outlast 2

Outlast 2 is the more classic Hide and Seek Horror type as mentioned.
Resident Evil is more of the i guess Resident Evil type.
So honestly it's whatever play style you like more.
I like Outlast 2 better, it's not as good as the original but it's good.
