PC Best Source game ever? Let's hear it.

Okay let's hear it folks, a lot of people think the source engine is pretty outdated but I must admit I love it and I see many other engines try to replicate some of its feeling & its features.

What do you think the best Source engine game ever was? Half Life 2? Counter Strike Sourc? Source mods like GMOD, Synergy, Zombie Panic!: Source, etc. are welcome.

I'f I'm talking valve games only, and no mods, My vote is for Portal. One of the best games ever.


otherwise I love GMOD.

Its for everybody a diffrent answer but for me it is Day of defeat source.

Exactly! That's what I was hoping for. The source engine has been loved so largely for the versatility it has shown. Thus it's bound to be a different answer for almost anyone you ask so there may be no consensus but I love seeing the different opinions and which games left a lasting impression on people.

Gmod, TF2, CSGO. They are all really good games. I love half life 2 aswell. But it's just not as good as all of those games in my opinion.
