Hey. I've started using Origin access this month, and I wanted to take the time to recommend it to others. It's the first time I'm using a service like this one-- I used to buy all my games on steam, full price-- so there's no bias here. What's nice about this service is that it allows you access to a bunch of games, but you only pay a minimal subscription price. By now I've already played Mass effect 3, BF3, Star Wars: Battlefront. Instead of paying for each of these games a full price, I pay 3.99 a month, and I can cancel it anytime.
However, you won't own the games of which you have access to, which means that If you want to cancel the service, those games won't be available any longer. It's a fair service in my opinion, and I plan to use it for the time being. :peace:
Now the question is, if you cancel your subscription, will your game data (like savegames, level in Battlefield etc) be saved or will you start fresh whenever you buy the subscription again at a later state?
To be honest, I prefer steam. My main reason for this is that I buy a lot of games, and I like to have a variety. For this reason, I tend to play two or three games exclusively for a short period of time, and then move on to another set. Later, I would come back and play it again. I do this on a whim, so I think it's just better that I own them.
It's also good knowing that I have them forever no matter what, and I don't have to pay to play them. Plus, if I wanted to play a game for years, the monthly fee would probably add up, and might pass up the actual price of the game...
Just my opinion, though. I'm sure Origin is better for different people.

Pretty sure that depends on the game since games handle the save date, and online information will most likely stay on their databases
You have access to some (quite a lot though) games which you can play with Origin Access, and you have some games you only have 10h access to. Those games will be gone after you cancelled your membership, but your progress in the game will be safed, so you can continue where you left it once you bought the game. You also get the 10h trial to games which haven't been released yet. (Mass Effect: Andromeda for example, you can play it 5 days before realease for 10h) Still not worth it imo.
