I currently have the Geforce GTX 660 and it has served me well for about 4 years now. So now I am looking to upgrade to something better but not too expensive.

I am looking for a GPU in the price range of 100-250.
I am also looking to upgrade my CPU I currently have theIntel Core i5-34703.2 Ghz

I bought the GTX 1050 Ti for around 150, its a great 'budget' gpu, runs pretty much everything I've tried. In terms of CPU it depends what you'll be using it for, if its just gaming then look for raw power over amount of cores and the such.

For the best price to performance I'd buy used. Look around on places like ebay, cragistlist, letgo, offerup, mercari, reddit.com/r/hardwareswap, heatware, etc.

Or for new I'd check reddit.com/r/buildapcsales or slickdeals.net

The best value GPU around that price point is the RX580 that goes for 150 pounds and then you'd have 100 pounds left to buy a Ryzen 3 2200G (before buying the CPU make sure your motherboard has the AM4 socket, otherwise you are better off staying with your current one).

Wait for a gtx 2060 non ray tracing. Hopefully that would do you better.
