PC What's your opinion on modders/modding?

Well, I got permabanned in Gta v: joy: well to be completely honest if you're just trying to mess around with kids and that and not harm their stats I think it's all right b.

As a stellaris / civ fanatic and someone who has logged hundreds of hours in Skyrim, I can say with confidence that moding makes games worthwhile in the long run

well I dont like it, because modding is kinda cheating in my eyes.

Modding a fantastic addition to every game and forum, it allows the game to have more content but in bathesdas case its a poor lazy excuse to cheap out on content

If you're going for the good mods, they are basically DLC Content but without having to pay for it. Adding new content and making the game worthy in the long run, or even fixing problems or some bad things that the original game has (SkyUI I'm looking at you). I do play alot of games that has modding features, I don't think they should be something bad. And there's that thing: If the mod is a cheat at SINGLEPLAYER, it's no problem. The player knows the consequences of cheating at singleplayer and losing all his fun. But... If it's a mod on multiplayer that do give some cheating on PvP or something... Then it's ban potential.

Depending on how you're using your mods. Some modders are cool and make the gaming experience more than you had expected. Unlocking content that is no normal in the game is awesome.

To me, I think as long as the mods are not ruining the game for others and keeping things fun, they are fine. But if they make the game horrible/unplayer for others it oversteps the line.
