Personally, neither. Never was much of a battle royale fan even when it started throughout other games (like arma 2).
But to add an opinion, I would say Fortnite.

The reason is simply because there have been a plethora of early-access games that spam the stores with temporary excitement without ever delivering a promised finished product.
I have sworn off any and all early-access games years ago and never plan on touching another. If a game works and succeeds to actually finish the product as promised, to the level of quality that it was promised as, then I'll gladly invest in it upon official release.
