not well-off myself but after being around people that are

luck or old money. while back in the past you could reasonably work and have a savings that's not reality in the west anymore :-p

Dont worry about the tiny specifics. Work harder and smarter than everyone, stay consistent and constantly grow. Get a routine and maximize productivity.
