Profile Covers With Custom Profile Fields [Like Nulled]

So I don't think nulled uses this method but this allows you to have custom profile covers with only template edits and a setting in ACP.

I really am needing something like this for my website, but everything I have found online isn't really helpful. Based on the last post, I am guessing whatever is hidden isn't that helpful either. Can someone make a legit guide for us with images?
