#1 Long story short deactivated an old e-mail account like 15+ years ago and someone simply re-created it. Now that wouldn't be a problem for me normally except they're using it to impersonate me on another website now.
So to get my account back I'll need access to my long-lost account or a spoofing/redirect service or something. Let me know what you can offer!

#2 Hey there mate,
From experience with e-mail re-gains, I think your best course of action is to talk to the mail provider's support division with proof you own the account.
They might not be able to deactivate the account, but if you claim ownership of the name and show them the problems that occured, it might push them enough to do it.
Start with there and try to work it out.
If nothing comes out of it , and it really causes trouble, talk to the guy.
If he's a douche, have him hacked. :muha:

Thanks for your help, unfortunately their service is only paid for now. I also have no evidence pretty much since it's been so so long, besides, I don't think they would care about some game account I'd like to have back. (I honestly blame the game for having such shitty service, not accepting my evidence list of recent activity and instead insisting on an email from the original account it was made with.)
the guy also has not replied to my emails at all, they seem to be malicious as they gained access to my (game) account through there (can't speak in details but it was pretty clear from the messages they posted that they were happy to have stolen it). any advice for such services?

Well, pretty much, this means that they are happy they got their hands on your account. No mistakes there.
Absolutely no point in contacting the scammer.Nothing will come out of it.
Now you faith must lie with the gaming support. They are your last hope.If you have evidence like info of the old account,or answers to secret questions etc, you can use such info to persuade them.
How I started my e-mail was:How can I proove to you it is my account?
It was an old League account that was not used and lost access to.They asked me about 20 questions regarding the account and i got it back, only a person that build up such a long time would know these.
I suggest you do something similar, even though I don't know how they will react to the account being active.Perhaps tell them about the different IP? Think in details. That should do it.
Relax and keep pressing on.
And you know what,I am curious what service is this?

I will keep pressing. I have compiled a list of evidence like more than 20 different types of evidence of my recent activity on it (I was active on it, but they just handed it over to the thief of the email suddenly)
Despite that, they just keep replying to me i need to reply from the original email :( like I said, their service is really outdated and shitty.
If you'd like to know more I can tell you via PM! However the reason I am mainly asking for e-mail access help is because their service is totally ignoring my huge list of evidence.

There are ways of "phishing" it. Its consider blackhat activity,so I wont help or go into details about it or methods on a how to,since blackhat is not allowed here. I hope you figure out a way of getting your account back or at least putting a stop to them impersonating you. Good luck.

The only thing I can think you can do after that the "legal" way, Is to explain them that if you could send it from that mail, you could, and keep pointing out how you do not have access to that mail and that you are willing to do whatever it takes to prove it. If they say the same thing after such blatantly insisting, I would give up trying to persuade them.
If you need that account with any means necessary, I would go for the options such as the one Ninja mentioned. But I have no knowledge about that. You will be on your own mate.
I wish you the best of luck

Thanks to both of you for advice. basically I got the game account blocked now. I just pray they won't think of returning it to the thief. I'd rather it banned than them continuing to impersonate me honestly.
