I don't think it's a matter of doing more. You should stick to those but do them more correctly (80% of the people are cheating on the angles a lil bit) and try to do them slowly.

If you're looking to get stronger focus on harder pushup variations instead of endlessly increasing reps.

i can do about the same, i get done at 60, i recommend mixing up your variations of pushups you're doing to help isolate different muscles
