R9 390 issue

Since this afternoon, when I turn my PC on/restart it.. The GPU seems to be running at max fan speed from the get go?

Never done this before, which is odd.

When you open the GIGABYTE OC GURU though, it returns to normal speed as soon as the application opens?

Any ideas?
