I spent my childhood watching him and his work on discovery science, natgeo. Watching various documentaries relating to his work.
I looked upto him.

My friend said "rip Stephen Hawking" and it kinda just flew over my head.
Didn't know he actually died 0-0

I'm surprised he lived as long as he did. He was giving 6 months to love, 50 years ago. But rip

It was a really great physic, and he was so lucky to survive for 30+ years with ALS

Really a shame he died, it's a big loss for our society to lose a great mind like him. I'll probably have to make a presentation on him as my physics teacher loves to give tribute to famous physicists.

Sad he died, but I have a hard time believing he was as smart as people think.

Idk? Just think about it... The smartest man in the world was in a wheelchair & couldn't speak. If that's where humanity is at then... wow.
