Rank Vs Time

I personally have about 400 hours and have just reached MG1 so yeah you are definitely better. Id say that there is no correlation between time and rank, or at least these are not that tightly coupled. There are some people that have very low hours and are high ranked, likewise i've got friends that have about 1k hrs and are still silver. Take from my comment what you may, it is my opinion.

Time doesn't mean anything as you said you have afk hours. Other than that it depends because you could try compare yourself to another however it all depends where those 8k hours all on competitive or casual maybe surf? or other gamemodes that don't help you improve aim. Once you've learnt the basic game knowledge got a good team and good communication time becomes very little factor. Some people reach Global within their first thousand hours some never reach it. At the current moment global is basically just a hack fest anyway.

time =/= skill level, you have to practise on aim maps, deathmatches or something to get better

i am mg1 I have 1600 hrs I think my rank is pretty doodoo but i could say im pretty skilled , but i fail to have good teammates and i play with my friends who are uhhh not that good

Fine... I can say one point, the main point is not the time nor the rank and skill. It's dedication!

There are some people here that are way better than me LOL I have 1300 hrs and only got to MGE on my main, even though I got LEM on a secondary account

i spend around 200 hour and i got 1 gold nova xDDDDD

Im at like 750 and im about dmg. But alot of these hours were spend on surf, so idk

I have 1000 hours and am Gold Nova 1. I am almost always the best in my team but I think it's cause my friends only has like 200 hours each.
