Something I just started working on about an hour ago. Any feedback so far? Need to mix it a bit and create the rest of the track etc. Also, possibly do some edits to the melody.

The transition between the first bar and second (just after 7 seconds) seems a bit weird in the lead. Try adding a tiny bit of release on the synth. I don't know if it's just that or the fact that you sidechain ducked the volume to the point where nothing is actually playing. Kind of makes it sound like you put it together with samples or loops, but reverb might take care of that. It sounds catchy so far! Definitely needs a bit more low-end going on, unless you plan on just having the kick be your low end. If you keep the kick for low-end then you'll need to layer a bigger kick behind that one.

Yeah I noticed the empty space and am going to put reverb in place as a filler for that. It sounds too dry for sure. Also I plan on swapping out the kick as well. The one used was just for reference mostly.
