Has any one had any experience using Razer Cortex? It is supposed to release a bunch of memory and make your game run better, but it actually caused more performance issues than good.

I learned about it earlier today but I can't seem to find much user posts online.

Anyone else use Cortex or have this experience?

With my experience with Cortex, it doesn't help anything. Just get a better computer if you can; fps boosters never help anything and it can actually be detected as a cheat by some games.

There are things you can do to increase your performance and downloading a program from razer isnt one of them.
You can clean up your pc, unpark cores, and optimize settings by yourself. There's no need for the software.
If you are having crippling issues with your computer it may be time to upgrade.

Please do not download Razer Cortex. Use CPU Unpark Utility, clean up your pc, uninstall crapware.
Use malwarebytes and Adwcleaner to be for 99.9% sure, that in your pc there's no malware slowing your pc.

As many people say, Cortex doesn't usually do anything, so i'll skip on it, i like the peripherals of razer tho, they get a lot of hate

It can get you some deals on games but fps boosters really don't help that often. Its a decent game launcher if you are just in it for looks.
