I am no streamer but i do like the nvidia shadowplay does the job. For professional streams obs is recommended by all

I'd use OBS if your computer is somewhat good since obs require some power.

OBS and shadowplay are my best software they run pretty well no lag plus i don't see a huge frame drop which is great

you could try ShadowPlayer thats quick and simple to use, or you could go for something a bit more advanced like OBS

Would it be worth buying a new NVidia GPU for shadowplay? If you were looking to get into the professional scene of recording.

the best is shadowplayer its simply to use and best result of recording quality

I prefer to use Bandicam of the Software that i got with AMD
dont download FRAPS its dead

The best software I have used is OBS... It works pretty good for streaming and general recording.

Xsplit for me works on older hardware, from past experience.

Stream labs is the best but the software to use is obs or obs stream labs.
