I am trying to convert from xenforo to IPB. Everything is working flawlessly except for this single issue, thus far. When I try to convert members it asked for "Location of Photos" for the avatar. I give it the exact root /home/[ftpuser]/[xenforo root]/data/avatar/l/0 yet it still says "path entered appears to be invalid."

I dont really care about the avatars but it wont let me skip it and it is not recognizing the path. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Look where the pictures path are setup by default in your xenforo version by checking: Style Properties -> General -> Settings.

Thanks for the quick responses! I tried this as well as it gave me the same results. Tried it using the full path from /home/ as well without success.

Did you try setting up the path starting by the xenforo path then go backwards until you find the one.
For example
1- [xenforo root]/data/avatar/l/0
2-[ftpuser]/[xenforo root]/data/avatar/l/0

or try going into Appearance -> Style Properties -> General -> Path to Images in Xenforo the admin panel and clicking "reset" and "save". It will change the image path back to the general path.

I did try that. I spent about 3 hours researching it too. Tried everything I could dig up from google, which isnt much lol

Also ensured that permissions are set to 755

Well here is something that most likely isn't the fix, but just trying to make sure. Are the ftp files permissions set to default?

Yes they are. Which happen to be 755 as recommended.

Haha looks like I am one post short of sending a PM. So Ill send that right now since this is my 25th post lol

Solved by placing the current path, instead of the path im converting from. Don't understand why, but it solved the issue.
