[Ripping] Ripping the "inc" directory

I have ripped a fair number of small forums just for the hell of it :noh:

I have gotten the folders of [uploads, images, jscripts, etc...]
I never have gotten the /inc directory :(


How would anybody manage to get the directory of /inc?
I've seen many forum dumps with files like this, I'm pretty sure so am wondering so I may try this :noh:

You need root access to download the files. There is no way to rip it.

How would you find an exploit in a forum and then run something to hack it?
