There is never a solid way to tell if it is a "good idea" or a "bad idea." The market can sway in any direction at any given moment, and you need to be ready for it. I would be more open to suggesting the idea of investing into alternate coins as it's easier to make a profit with them.

The value of BTC tanked the other day, and it's been steadily climbing back up since.

With the recent Price changes, is it worth the risk to buying a hell lot of GPUs right now to mine (not necessarily bitcoin, could be ETH)?
