Jamal Khashoggi has just been, allegedly, executed by the Saudis. Is this a one off occurence, or do you think SA will be taking a harder rule with the new crown.
I think Mohammed bin Salman is an authoritarian despite some of his more moderate and modern stances, and I've seen nothing to suggest that the obvious support of radical Islam by Saudi is going to stop. The constant changing story around Khashoggi is just Saudi is just them trying to control their image / hide their authoritarianism. All the modern, reformist stuff is just a thin smokescreen.
