I actually earn credit for it 2. My schools budget is paying for the miners 3. The three miners are very expensive I'm doing it for credit, not for money.

Really at this stage the best way to get bitcoin is buying it. edit: At max mining speed, you'd be earning $1.85 per month with that miner. It's fun, but not practical.
