Joining here gave me a sense of relief that I really didn't find anywhere else. And I'm extremely thankful for the friends that I have made (and some that I have kept) during that time.

I am worried that new users now will never get that experience here. It's a different environment than it was those couple of years ago, and I feel like it's come to the point where you have to have some sort of ignorance / ego to make a name for yourself. Which sucks. It makes me want Member of the Month to be brought back because of how some people have acted / been rewarded for it.

Again, I don't hate nbb. I don't think I ever will. I still love what this site / community has done for me, and I bet for other people as well. And even now there are still people that I love talking to. It just hasn't been the same for a good while now. And I'm not expecting it to change.

Damn you're right. I remember activity went up after v3.

Here's what I think we have to do: Whenever V4 or a big wave of members show up, the oldfags and middle-agedfags have to keep consistently posting to keep the momentum of activity. I feel like if users see members like that posting it will encourage others to do the same. Decorated members will probably motivate people to upgrade too. We just gotta catch that next wave.

The thing is, at least for me, is that I really don't want to anymore. I'm just kinda sick of forums. Even though I like the community here, posting random garbage just wears me out now. Maybe it's just me, because I love talking on these types of threads.

I don't think it'll be forgotten. And it is far from inactive to be honest. Sure there's a lot of leechers here, but there always were, and always will be. I don't think that anybody who has made any sort of friend here would forget about this site, and I doubt Aoki would shut it down anytime soon.

Social media could be a factor as well. I know damn well there are people who will browse memes for hours lmao. Social media is so accessible, while forums are more, old-fashioned.

It got me excited. I might start focusing more on the minecraft server now rather than just plan for the future like I usually do.

Forget this place? No never. This is the first time I've seen this forum I've been looking at again and again and again. The place is very separate for me. And I have some nice people here. Aoki Bubble Nasyr <3
