RE: Ghosts?

I've seen a ghost once but didn't know it was a ghost. The story went like this.

I was outside with a few friends and since they were staying the night at my lace we went outside to sleep in the tent just being kids and having fun. When we were inside the tent I heard scraping noises on the tent so I opened up and stepped out. My friends stayed inside. When I got out I saw a clear person standing right at the edge of the road and I still remember clearly that he was wearing overalls and a button down shirt with blue jeans. I was confused but told my friends to come out and see it and they did and we went back in the house. I told my dad what I saw and he had a look of surprise on his face and he told me that the man I described was someone who had hung themselves right there on that very street and from that day I've believed in 'ghosts'.I like to see them as spirits that just stick around like Harry stated but same thing.

I guess so, sometimes I reminisce on that story but I never paint a full picture as to why the man was standing there. I wonder what made him stick around as a spirit. I haven't seen any others after that incident.

I like to think there is something more for us after life. Otherwise my 26 year old brother's life was just too short.. he's gotta be doing something up there or where ever he may be now. So I like to believe there is something, never had many personal experiences.

Closest thing I can say is, when I worked in a nursing home, it was very common for the elderly to see children right before they die. Normally when they start talking about children at the end of their bed we expect them to pass away very shortly, a bit weird eh?
