This makes me feel really depressed, because I have 200MB/s down, and 50MB/s up. I'm waiting for Google Fibre to come my wayyyy! Enjoy that connection ffs haha.

Doesn't fibre have a 1TB/month bandwidth cap?

Also why do you have eShrug in your signature twice??

Most people download torrents through Dedi's then download them for personal use through the dedi. So it's Torrent > Dedi > You. I've done this for UHD, as it's way faster and more convenientand a lot faster sometimes if you're in a big swarm.

It'll also be a lot more conventional if you're in a PT and want to get that ratio up.

But does the download from the Dedi to your own PC takes super long or with the speed of the dedi?

For instance, if I was connecting for a private swarm via my own internet connection, to download a UHD would be slower than downloading it through a dedi on a dedicated and closer area with faster speeds.

A UHD rip depending on the codec can go from anywhere between 30-100GB so you can download them reasonably fast with your home fibre optic connection, but it's always faster to relay that download through a dedi with a GB/ connection, then download it, as there will only be you and no other peers downloading the file.

It'll save a lot of time in the grand scheme of things. Also uploading WILL ALWAYS be faster, and more reliable.

So even when downloading from the dedi to your own PC is faster.

Thanks, although dedi's are expensive still.

I mean if you wan't a good ratio on any good and reliable private tracker, you need to invest in a dedi.

Nope, there is no data caps at all! That's why It's so great. AND to top it off, only 70 dollars a month. Honestly can't beat that.
