Serious Is the letter "Y" a vowel.

Like I know this might seem dumb, but I am really questioning it and it's been on my mind for the past 2 days.

Even the Oxford dictionary isn't sure.

A E I O U and sometimes Y

my question is "Y" is it that way

I'm not going to lie, I've actually pronounced that aloud. As in, pronounce as a word. In a high school theater. LOUD. I got a bunch of other guys to do it too and it drove the creative director nuts.

It was, but after the show he joined in too at the celebration dinner and we turned the heads of the workers at the restaurant.
